I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Tamara's passing. She was a close friend in college and beyond.
I remember a ski trip in Mammoth, a birthday party in Burbank and a get together Santa Barbara. Always a lot of laughter and joy. As others have written, Tamara was a prolific writer of handwritten notes, I so enjoyed receiving her Christmas cards from Missoula, Tallahassee, or wherever she was working as she travelled the country covering the news.
Tamara was smart, kind, and above all else grounded. I can't imagine the depth of losing her. I can only hope that you are comforted by the memory of her warmth and her smile.
