Grief is just love with no place to go

On the anniversary of our marriage in Red Lodge I'm enveloping the fullness of a quote from the writer of the British TV series Dr. Who.

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.”

Where to go with that grief and give the gift of love will be my north star for 2023.

I love you Tam.
